The Laguna de Iguaque is a beautiful natural attraction located near Villa de Leyva, Colombia. The entrance fee to the park is approximately $10 USD per person and it is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm daily. Unfortunately, there is no official website available.

The Laguna de Iguaque is surrounded by lush forests and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Visitors can hike to the top of the mountain to reach the lagoon, which takes approximately 4-5 hours round trip. Along the way, hikers will encounter diverse flora and fauna, including various bird species, deer, and even the occasional puma.

In the surrounding areas, visitors can explore the charming colonial town of Villa de Leyva, known for its cobblestone streets, whitewashed buildings, and beautiful Plaza Mayor. Other nearby attractions include the Pozos Azules, a series of natural blue pools, and the Iguaque National Park, which offers additional hiking opportunities. The Pozos Azules are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm and the Iguaque National Park is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm daily.
